CPE1: Central Park East 1 Elementary School

There are many systems in place for disseminating information. Most handouts regarding school matters (such as special school schedules, field trips, health advisories) are sent home via “backpack mail.” Please be sure to check your child’s backpack daily (even if s/he says there is nothing there) and respond promptly when a response is called for. Some teachers send home a weekly update listing the highlights of the previous week and upcoming events. Class parents, who serve as liaisons between the parents of their child’s class and the Executive Committee of the Parents’ Association will also be in occasional communication. In addition, CPE Notes comes home weekly with important dates and information. If you want to receive notices via email, be sure to add your name to the list by contacting the Parents’ Association Secretary.
