CPE1: Central Park East 1 Elementary School

School starts promptly at 8:30am. Free breakfast is served from 8:00am-8:20am for all students and there is supervision in the lunchroom starting at that time. Children may read, draw or play quietly until their teacher arrives. Staff brings children upstairs to the classrooms at approximately 8:30am. Parents may wait in the lunchroom with their children if they choose.

Dismissal time is 2:50pm. All students are dismissed from the veranda adjacent to the cafeteria. Parents and caregivers can enter through the gate on 106th Street between Madison and Park Avenues. Students who are not picked up promptly must wait in the Main Office for their parent or caregiver.
