Dear CPE I Parents,

We are collecting Box Tops to raise money for our school! 

What are Box Tops for Education?

They are part of a program called Box Tops for Education, whereby people can earn cash for their child's school by clipping Box Tops coupons from participating products and submitting them to the school.  Each coupon is worth $.10.  The more we collect, the more money we can earn for our school programs, so please look for them on the products that you buy!  For more information, you can check out the website: www.btfe.com.

Please send them in to your child's teacher or drop them off in the designated box in the library no later than Monday, October 22nd!

Dear Neighbor,

We invite you to make a difference in the lives of New York City school children in your community. The Parents’ Association at Central Park East 1 elementary school is actively seeking donations for our upcoming raffle to be held on May 3rd at the school in East Harlem.

As you consider the many requests for donations that come your way, know that your support of this event will have results – your business will get great exposure and you will be helping a great school to grow and thrive.

CPE 1 is one of New York’s oldest and most respected elementary schools. As I am sure you have heard, NYC public schools are facing severe budget cuts and we are hoping to raise funds to help keep vital programs and services alive at our school. Any donation is most appreciated!

I have attached the donation form that we are using this year. You can keep the lower half for your record. A letter for the winner, with details about obtaining the membership, can be forwarded in the enclosed envelope and addressed to the attention of the CPE1 Parents’ Association.
