CPE1: Central Park East 1 Elementary School

The CPE 1 staff is quite experienced at designing a school-wide curriculum that has broad appeal for students and that enables parents to participate at many levels. Once again, as in the past, the staff will work collaboratively to select a theme to be studied, conduct research, gather information, and find resources, i.e. print materials, films, sites to be visited, and/or individuals to be interviewed. Once the study unit is completed, students, parents, and teachers will offer presentations that demonstrate what they have learned to an audience of parents and other interested individuals.
